Essential Question: How do we create colors that match what we see?
Skills and Vocabulary:
Scumble - controlled scribble used to create effective layers
Fade - color change where it transitions from heavy saturated color to lighter color
Layer - one plane of color
Blend - layers of overlapping color
Transition - changing from one color to another

Colored Pencil Practice DUE FRIDAY SEPT 2
Descriptions: Using the grid created in class, students will practice colored pencil technique using prisma color colored pencils on paper.
They will be expected to create:
A minimum of 1 long single color fade
A minimum of 3 full square color blends using 2 or more colors
A minimum of on square of black using indigo and dark brown
A minimum of 3 full square color fade from one color to another color
Final Project
To create a colored pencil drawing from a photograph or from life using the techniques practiced.
